How to Play
Onet Connect is an original browser tile-matching game inspired by classic Onet / link puzzles. Click two matching animal tiles to connect them with a path of up to two turns. Clear all pairs before the two-minute timer runs out.
Build combos by matching quickly in succession for bonus points. Use hints to reveal a valid pair, or shuffle when the board feels stuck. Animated lines show your path before tiles disappear.
A self-made browser version with combo scoring and timed rounds.
Controls
- Click tile — Select first animal, then click a matching tile
- Hint — Reveal one connectable pair (limited uses)
- Shuffle — Rearrange remaining tiles (limited uses)

Tips & Tricks
- 1Scan edges first — corner tiles often block paths later
- 2Combo matches within two seconds multiply your score
- 3Paths can turn at most twice; straight and L-shaped routes count
- 4Shuffle before the timer is critical — don't hoard shuffles
- 5Clear pairs that open the center of the board when possible
Frequently Asked Questions
How many turns can a path make?
Up to two turns (three segments). The path must be clear of other tiles.
What happens when time runs out?
The round ends. Restart for a fresh 2:00 board and score reset.
Do combos stack?
Yes. Quick consecutive matches increase combo count and add bonus points.
Is this the official Onet game?
No. This is an original browser implementation inspired by classic tile-link matching puzzles.
