How to Play
Ludo is an original browser board race inspired by classic Ludo / Parcheesi gameplay. Each player has four tokens that start in their home base. On your turn, roll the die and move one token forward along the track that wraps around the board.
The path runs clockwise from your colored start square, all the way around the outer ring, and then turns into your private home column leading to the center finish. You must travel the full loop before cutting into your home stretch — and you need exact rolls to land the final step into the center.
Landing on a square occupied by a single opponent token (outside the safe star squares) captures it and sends that token all the way back to its base. The first player to bring all four tokens safely to the center wins. Roll a six and you get to roll and move again — but three sixes in a row forfeits your turn.

- Roll Dice button or R / Space — roll the die on your turn
- Click a highlighted token — select which piece to move
- 1–4 keys — quickly select token 1–4 if it can move
- vs AI mode — you are Red, the computer plays the other colors
- 2 Players mode — pass-and-play for Red, Green, Yellow, Blue
Tips & Tricks
- 1Get your tokens out of base early — you need a six to leave, and the first tokens on the board reach home sooner
- 2Use the four safe star squares to park tokens where opponents cannot capture them

- 4Capture aggressively when safe — sending a rival back to base costs them an entire lap

How do I win at Ludo?

What happens when I land on an opponent?
On a normal square you capture their token and send it back to base. Star squares are safe — tokens there cannot be captured.
Can I play Ludo against the computer?
Yes. In vs AI mode you play as Red and the computer controls the other three colors. There is also a 2-player hotseat mode.
Why do I get another turn after a six?
Rolling a six grants a bonus roll. Three sixes in a row forfeits the turn, a standard Ludo rule that keeps the game fair.
