How to Play
Dual Arena is a versus game built for one screen and a best-of-3 across three 30-second minigames. You can play solo against a CPU or share the keyboard with a friend. Pick a CPU tier before the match: Rookie reacts slowly, fumbles often and shoves weakly; Rival is steadier; Ruthless reacts fast, rarely errs and pushes at full strength — beating a tougher rival pays more and extends your win streak. Player 1 moves with A (left) and S (right); in two-player mode Player 2 uses K (left) and L (right). The first round is Sumo Push — ram your opponent out of the circular arena while keeping your own feet inside. The second is Coin Grab — both sides chase a single coin; whoever touches it scores, and the higher score when the 30-second clock expires takes the round. The third is Tug Rush — haul the rope toward your own side; drag it past your win zone to win. Win two of three rounds to take the match. On a phone, skip the keyboard and tap the two on-screen buttons on the left half; in solo mode the right half belongs to the CPU.
Controls
- Player 1: press A to move left, S to move right (arrow keys work too)
- Two-player mode: Player 2 presses K to move left, L to move right
- Solo mode: choose Rookie, Rival or Ruthless before starting — the CPU takes the right half
- On phones: tap the P1 ◀ / P1 ▶ buttons; the right side shows the CPU in solo mode
- Win two of the three minigame rounds to take the match
Tips & Tricks
- 1Sumo: build momentum before contact so the collision shoves your opponent, not you
- 2Coin Grab: predict where the coin will respawn and cut the angle instead of chasing it
- 3Tug Rush: haul toward your own side — as P1 that means holding A, not S
- 4Start on Rookie to learn all three minigames, then climb to Ruthless for the bigger reward
- 5Lead 1-0 means you only need one more round, so play safe in round two
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I play alone?
Yes — start a solo match against the CPU and pick Rookie, Rival or Ruthless. Rookie is slow to react and shoves weakly, Ruthless is fast and pushes at full strength, and beating a tougher rival pays more.
What are the three minigames?
Round 1 is Sumo Push (shove your opponent out of the ring), round 2 is Coin Grab (collect more coins before the clock ends), and round 3 is Tug Rush (drag the rope past your win zone).
How do I win the match?
It is best of 3 — win two of the three minigame rounds and the match is yours.
What keys do we use?
Player 1 uses A and S, Player 2 uses K and L. In solo mode only Player 1 is human, so K and L are ignored and the CPU drives the right side. On a phone, tap the two on-screen buttons on the left half.
Why did the rope snap back?
Tug Rush has a center spring; if you over-pull and let go, the rope recoils toward the middle, so tap in short bursts to hold your lead.
