Draw to Defend puts a single glowing core at the bottom of the arena and rains energy orbs down from the top, each one aimed at the core. Your only job is to stop them: press and drag anywhere on the field to sketch a temporary neon barrier, and any orb that touches it bounces away harmlessly. On desktop, hold the left mouse button and move to draw; on a phone or tablet, just drag your finger across the screen.
Barriers are short-lived — each stroke fades after a few seconds — so you redraw as the waves keep coming. An orb that slips past your walls and touches the core drains its shield a little; that is the only way you take damage. Every orb you deflect scores points, and the counter at the top tracks your total deflects. Each wave sends more orbs than the last, and after you clear a wave the next, bigger wave pours in.
There are five waves in total. Clear all five without letting the shield hit zero and the defense holds — you win. Let the shield empty and the core is breached, ending the run. Nothing is shown being hurt in a realistic way: orbs are glowing spheres and a hit is just a light flash, which keeps the game friendly to a wide audience.
Controls
- Desktop: hold the left mouse button and move to draw a barrier
- Mobile: drag your finger across the field to draw a barrier
- Barriers are temporary — redraw them as they fade between waves
Tips & Tricks
- 1Draw barriers slightly above the core so orbs hit them early and bounce away cleanly
- 2Overlap two short strokes instead of one long line so there are no gaps for orbs to slip through
- 3Watch the shield bar at the top — if it dips below a third, focus on a dense wall right over the core
- 4Redraw often; a barrier that fades mid-wave leaves the core exposed for its last second
- 5On Pro and Champion orbs fall faster and hit harder, so keep your wall thicker and lower
- 6Deflecting orbs off to the sides scores the same as the middle, so spread your strokes to cover more width
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I draw a barrier?
Press and drag anywhere on the arena — on desktop hold the mouse button and move, on mobile just drag your finger. Each stroke creates a temporary glowing wall that fades after a few seconds.
How do I win?
Deflect the falling orbs and protect the core's shield through all five waves. Clear the final wave with shield to spare and the defense holds.
Is there any violence or blood?
No. The orbs are abstract glowing spheres and a hit on the core is shown only as a light flash that drains a shield bar — nothing is depicted being injured.
What do the difficulty tiers change?
Rookie, Pro and Champion only change how many orbs fall, how fast they move, how much they drain the shield and the core's starting shield. Your single-input drawing stays the same.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Drag your finger anywhere on the field to draw barriers; the layout and controls work the same on desktop and mobile.
