Pixel Leap is a side-scrolling platformer. You control a little blue runner: move left and right and jump to clear gaps, grab floating coins, and reach the green flag at the end of each of the 12 levels. Land on top of a patrolling enemy to stomp it (and bounce off for a combo); touch one from the side and you lose the level. Some levels add twists — moving platforms you must ride across pits, springs that launch you to high ledges, slippery ice that kills your stopping power, and a final purple boss you defeat by stomping it three times. Fall into a pit or hit spikes and you restart the current level, so momentum and timing are everything. Normal is the relaxed run; Hard speeds the enemies up.
Controls
- Arrow keys or A / D to move left and right
- Space, Up arrow or W to jump (hold longer to jump higher)
- On mobile, tap the on-screen left / right arrows to move and the up arrow to jump
- Press R to instantly restart the current level
Tips & Tricks
- 1Use short hops for small gaps and full jumps for the wide ones — hold jump longer for extra height
- 2Stomp enemies from directly above; landing on their head also bounces you higher for the next one
- 3Ride moving platforms by standing still on them — they carry you across pits automatically
- 4Springs launch you very high — steer left or right in the air to land on the ledge above
- 5On ice, tap the opposite direction early to stop, because you slide much further than normal ground
- 6On Hard the enemies move faster, so stomp them the moment they line up under you
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I beat the final boss?
The purple boss patrols the ground with three health points. Jump so you land on its head three times — each stomp removes one point and bounces you up for the next. Once it is gone, run to the flag to finish the game.
Why did I restart the level?
You either fell into a pit, touched spikes, or bumped an enemy from the side. Only landing on top of an enemy is safe; everything else costs you the level.
What are the moving platforms for?
They bridge gaps you cannot jump across in one leap. Step onto one and let it carry you, then hop off onto solid ground on the far side.
What do the springs do?
Touching a spring bounces you high into the air so you can reach ledges that are too tall for a normal jump. Steer while rising to aim for the landing.
Is there a best score?
Your highest score is saved on this device and shown on the start and results screens; coins and stomp combos add to it as you play.
What is the difference between Normal and Hard?
Hard makes every patrolling enemy move about 60% faster, which tightens the timing windows for jumps and stomps. The level layouts are identical.
