Bubble Shooter is a browser bubble-matching puzzle. Aim from the bottom and shoot colored bubbles into the cluster. Match three or more of the same color to pop them.
Clear hanging bubbles when groups detach. Don't let the cluster cross the bottom danger line.
The field is 400 by 500 units with bubbles 20 units in radius laid out in a staggered honeycomb: even rows hold 10 bubbles, odd rows hold 9, across 10 rows. Your shooter sits fixed at the bottom centre and fires at 480 units per second, anywhere between about 11 degrees off horizontal on either side.
The danger line sits at y = 340, roughly two thirds of the way down, so you lose a good deal of vertical room before the round ends.
Controls
- Arrow Left / Right — Aim shooter
- Mouse or touch — Aim and shoot on the board
- Space or Launch — Fire bubble
- Start — Begin round
- P — Pause or resume
Tips & Tricks
- 1Bank shots off walls to reach tight pockets
- 2Drop large clusters by popping roots at the top
- 3Match the preview bubble color to plan two shots ahead
- 4Clear bottom rows to buy vertical space
- 5The grid staggers — even rows have 10 columns and odd rows have 9 — so the same x-coordinate does not align between neighbouring rows
- 6Because the shooter never moves, angle is your only variable; a one-degree change lands several columns apart at the top of the field
- 7Six colours are in play, so a bad shot that adds an unreachable colour near the top can strand a whole section

How far can I aim?
Anywhere from about 11 degrees above horizontal on the left to 11 degrees on the right. You cannot shoot downward.
How does the round end?
When the cluster crosses the danger line at y = 340, about two thirds down the field.
