How to Play
Forest Ranger is a patrol route: photograph twelve animals scattered through the woods, then get back to the ranger station in the bottom centre. There is nothing that can hurt you except the clock, so the whole game is ordering a route through twelve points and finishing at the base.

Tips & Tricks
- 1Nothing kills you but the clock, so a bad route is a slow route rather than a failed one. That makes this the one game in the set where the score is guaranteed and only the clock decides.
- 2Animals are collected within 24 pixels of the ranger and the station at 24, which is a little over one 22-pixel step — you have to land on a point rather than brush past it.
- 3The station is fixed at the bottom centre and every animal is placed at least 60 pixels from it, so the last leg of any sensible route is the one home rather than a detour.
- 4Twelve animals on the first patrol, one more on each replay up to eighteen, with the clock dropping ten seconds a time. The animals cycle through six species, so two of each appear before any repeats in the set.

What is the objective?
Photograph every animal, then return to the station in the bottom centre. The win check fires when the last animal has been photographed and the ranger is within 24 pixels of the station.
Can I fail?
Only on time. There are no hazards and no way to lose a photograph once taken, so a run ends at zero seconds rather than at a mistake. Score is one point an animal, so it is the same on every completed patrol.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Tapping in a direction moves the ranger one 22-pixel step that way, matching the arrow keys exactly.
